Excavation Before Elevation. You Must Dig Deep Before You Can Go High.

Often we want to reach high and lofty heights before we have developed the internal capacity, fortitude, bandwidth and maturity to handle it.  For a large building to be safe, it must have structural integrity — an engineering concept.  The building’s foundation must be strong and solid enough to maintain the weight of the people, all of the things that will go into the building, and on top of that, meet safety guidelines.

This requires digging deep for a strong foundation.  The same thing applies to us.

The old emotional wounds must be excavated and healed up.  The old mindset must be excavated, cleared away and renewed.  The old wineskin must be replaced with a new wineskin before new wine (new ideas, fresh revelation, & witty ideas) can be received. The old dysfunctional relationship patterns must be excavated and removed.  The old style and manner of speech must be excavated and upgraded.

We must dig deep before we can “go hard”.  We want to “Grind and Hustle” first and then clean up later. Sure, we can walk in a degree of elevation with a shallow foundation and a shallow platform in today’s world. But will it last?  Will it pass the storms of life?  Is your foundation of elevation built on sinking sand or the True Rock that is found in God?  Hmmmm. Excavation always comes before TRUE and LASTING Elevation. Always.

Isaiah 28: 16 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, A costly cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed. He who believes in it will not be disturbed. #Elevation #Excavation #StrongFoundation #DigDeep
